Call for Institutional Partners Now Open for #Cultures 2027

The organising institutions of #Cultures 2027 - International Online Congress of Studies on Cultures are pleased to announce that the Call for Institutional Partners is now open.
Universities, graduate programmes, research centres, academic networks, scientific associations, cultural organisations and other institutions from different countries are invited to establish a formal partnership with the congress.
The initiative seeks to expand the international institutional network of #Cultures 2027, strengthen scientific cooperation and promote broader participation in the congress, which will take place entirely online from 6 to 9 April 2027.

What is an Institutional Partnership?
An Institutional Partnership is a formal and non-financial cooperation arrangement between #Cultures 2027 and an eligible organisation.
The partnership is based on institutional recognition, scientific collaboration, dissemination and participation. It does not require sponsorship, financial contribution or the transfer of resources between the partner institution and the congress organisers.
Its purpose is to connect universities, academic communities, research structures and cultural organisations to an international network focused on the study of cultures and contemporary social transformations.
Who may apply?
The call is open to legally or institutionally recognised organisations whose activities are connected to research, education, culture, public policy, artistic practice, heritage, communication or social development.
Eligible organisations may include:
- Universities and higher education institutions.
- Graduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Research centres, institutes, groups and laboratories.
- Academic, scientific and professional associations.
- National and international research networks.
- Cultural institutions and organisations.
- Museums, archives, libraries and heritage institutions.
- Public bodies and educational organisations.
- Non-profit organisations with relevant cultural or academic activities.
Benefits for partner institutions
Approved institutional partners become part of the official international network of #Cultures 2027 and may receive visibility and participation opportunities throughout the development of the congress.
Benefits may include:
- Institutional recognition as an official partner of #Cultures 2027.
- Inclusion of the institution's name and logo in the congress platform and selected communication materials.
- Visibility within an international academic, scientific and cultural network.
- Opportunities to disseminate the congress calls among affiliated researchers, students and professionals.
- Possibility of nominating researchers for participation in scientific activities and committees, subject to the relevant calls and criteria.
- Access to the institutional partner registration benefit for eligible affiliates.
- Possibility of future scientific, editorial and institutional cooperation with CLAEC, Scientia International and other members of the congress network.
Registration benefit for affiliates
Eligible students, researchers, faculty members, staff and other affiliates of approved institutional partners may request a 40% reduction in the applicable registration fee.
The benefit is not automatic. Before making payment, the participant must contact the congress organisation and provide evidence of an active relationship with the partner institution.
Discounts are not cumulative. Where a participant qualifies for more than one discount category, only the highest applicable reduction will be granted.
To request the partner institution discount, participants should:
- Create an account on the congress platform.
- Do not complete payment before receiving instructions.
- Send an email to info@culturescongress.org .
- Use the subject: Discount Request - #Cultures 2027.
- Include full name, registered email, institution and country.
- Attach proof of current affiliation with the approved partner institution.
Commitments of partner institutions
Institutional partnership is based on cooperation and mutual visibility. Approved partners are expected to support the dissemination and academic reach of the congress within their institutional networks.
Partner institutions may be asked to:
- Publicise the congress, its official calls and key deadlines through institutional channels.
- Share information with students, researchers, faculty members, professionals and affiliated communities.
- Provide an official logo and accurate institutional information for publication on the congress platform.
- Identify an institutional contact person responsible for communication with the congress organisers.
- Encourage participation in submissions, scientific committees, thematic activities and the online programme.
- Inform the organisers of any change that may affect the institution's eligibility or participation in the partnership.
The exact form of cooperation may vary according to the institutional profile and the opportunities available during the organisation of the congress.
Evaluation of applications
Applications will be reviewed according to the institution's profile, relevance to the congress, potential contribution to the international network and capacity to support the dissemination and participation objectives of #Cultures 2027.
Complete applications should normally receive a response within ten working days. Applications requiring additional documentation or clarification may take longer to process.
Approval is subject to verification of the information submitted and does not create an employment, commercial, sponsorship or financial relationship.
Institutional Partnership Schedule:
- Applications open: 15 July 2026
- Deadline for early institutional visibility: 30 September 2026
- Continuous evaluation: Normally within ten working days
- Final application deadline: 31 January 2027
- Second institutional visibility cycle: February 2027

Early institutional visibility
Institutions approved during the first application period may receive earlier visibility in congress communications, partnership announcements and the official partner area of the platform.
Applications submitted after 30 September 2026 remain eligible for partnership, but their public inclusion may occur during the subsequent communication and website update cycle.
Use of institutional names and logos
By submitting an application, the institution confirms that it is authorised to provide its name, logo and public institutional information for use in materials directly related to the partnership and #Cultures 2027.
The name and logo may be displayed on the congress platform, official announcements, partnership listings and other institutional communication materials associated with the event.
Approval as an institutional partner does not authorise either party to represent the other beyond the scope of the partnership or to create obligations not expressly agreed upon.
How to apply
Interested institutions should review the complete call and submit the institutional partnership form with accurate and up-to-date information.
Before applying, institutions should:

- Identify an authorised institutional contact person.
- Prepare a brief institutional description.
- Provide the official website and public contact information.
- Prepare a high-quality institutional logo.
- Submit the application by 31 January 2027.
