Portal and congress conditions
Scientia International Conferences brings together information and services for scientific events. These terms govern use of the portal. Each edition identifies its organisation, programme, participation formats, prices, deadlines and specific conditions, which should be reviewed before registration or submission.
Edition conditions supplement these terms for the relevant service, subject to statutory rights. Browsing or creating an account does not by itself create a paid registration or authorise newsletter delivery.
02
Accounts and accurate information
Provide accurate information, keep contact details current and protect your credentials. Do not share passwords or use another person's account. Notify support of suspected unauthorised access.
One account may support multiple roles and participations. Administrative access requires assigned permissions. Minors must follow edition eligibility rules and applicable legal-representation or authorisation requirements.
03
Submissions, review and programme
Authors are responsible for authorship, integrity, accuracy and permissions for submitted text, images and other materials. Follow the call's deadlines, formats, ethical criteria and instructions.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance, programme inclusion, certification or publication. These depend on review and the edition's stated rules. Programmes may be updated; check the latest version, including time zone and attendance format.
04
Registration, payment and records
Before paying, check the category, price, currency, included services, billing recipient and published conditions. Confirmation depends on event rules and payment status.
Provide the correct payer or organisation name, tax identification when required, email and billing address including country. Address correction requests to the issuer identified on the document. Receipts and payment records document the transaction; their labels do not change the service's nature or replace legally required tax documents.
05
Cancellations, changes and refunds
Read the edition's policy before contracting. Send cancellation, transfer or refund requests to the identified organiser or issuer, including registration and transaction details.
These terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule or remove mandatory consumer rights. Withdrawal rights, conditions and exceptions depend on the service and applicable law. Organisers should communicate material changes, postponements and cancellations together with the available participant options.
06
Profiles, images and content rights
Check the accuracy and permissions of professional profile information, photographs and materials you supply. Organisers may associate profiles with authorised roles and activities. Committee membership does not grant access to other participants' private information.
Authors and rights holders retain their rights. Submission permits processing necessary for the requested review and participation; other publication, recording or reuse depends on the stated conditions and relevant permissions or licences.
Respect licences specified on pages and publications. Logos, marks, photographs and third-party materials may have separate conditions. Participation does not grant unrestricted commercial use of a person's image, voice or work.
07
Conduct and security
Communicate respectfully and follow the edition's ethical and conduct rules. Harassment, discrimination, fraud, infringement, malicious code, spam and unauthorised-access attempts are prohibited.
We may proportionately restrict access where necessary to contain abuse or protect the platform. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a channel for clarification. Security measures do not remove contractual obligations or statutory rights.
08
External events and third-party services
The catalogue may link to congresses on other domains. Registration, submission, payment and support then take place through the indicated service under its own terms. Account integration between platforms is not presumed.
Check the domain and conditions before providing data. References to third-party resources do not guarantee availability or scientific endorsement of all linked content.
09
Availability and responsibility
We make reasonable efforts to maintain access and correct errors. Maintenance, network failures and updates may temporarily affect availability. Report problems promptly when a deadline is approaching.
Scientific content expresses its authors' views. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory user rights. Requests about edition services should also be directed to the responsible organisation.
10
Privacy, versions and support
Data handling follows the Privacy Policy and form-specific notices. Newsletter and optional-cookie consent are separate from contracting.
The current version is identified on this page. Changes do not retroactively alter contracted conditions without a valid basis. Ask for clarification if translations differ; statutory rights do not depend on language selection.
Applicable law and jurisdiction follow the rules governing the relationship and the user's location, preserving mandatory consumer protections. Use the contact on this page for questions, corrections or complaints.
